Hayden Panettiere Makes Denial An Art Form
In spite of the fact that Hayden's dad was arrested for hitting his wife because she spent all night flirting with other men then showered him with torrents of abuse, Hayden Panettiere is claiming that the whole affair was the fault of the police, who totally went too far when they arrested her dad.
Hayden told Extra magazine: "It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his fifteen minutes of fame. My family is wonderful -- so very happy. We're all great."
The first half of the sentence was somewhat believable, however the second indicates that Hayden is desperately living in a fantasy land. Several independent witness reports told of her mother's 'disrespect' to her father, and as much as relationships have changed in the last twenty or so years, it's still not great when your Dad hits your Mom.
I don't think you really need me to do the math here, but I'll do it anyway, because that's pretty much my job around here.
