Evil Indian People Want To Imprison Liz Hurley

When it was just her new in laws bitching about the wedding I let this story slide because, well, who gives a fuck really, but now it´s just gotten scary ridiculous. For those of you who weren´t in the know, Liz recently married her Indian man, Arun Nayar. Being the nice sort of lady that she is, she agreed to a Hindu wedding in India. Of course, when there are in laws involved nobody is ever going to be happy, and after feeling ´slighted´ at the wedding, her new husbands parents are apparently going to press criminal charges.
It´s always nice to learn about crazy foreign cultures, and if you´re read this far, you´re about to learn something really fucking nuts. The couple have been charged with ´intention to outrage the feelings of Hindus´ which is a crime in India.
Here I was thinking the whole redneck/bible belt thing was bad. But really, what the fuck is this? If found guilty, both Liz and Arun are facing a three year prison sentence. This is why you don´t bother trying to make in laws feel better in the first place. I´ll bet anything they only had the wedding in India to make his parents feel better to begin with and now they are pressing charges because Liz and Arun had drinks at their wedding, and Liz wouldn´t take her shoes off inside the marriage place.
