Photographers Steal Katie´s Soul

Which is why she called police to aid her after spotting a couple of photographers taking her picture I guess. That´s right, Katie was so freaked out to see people taking her picture that she felt she needed to call the police. I guess the Scientologists went a bit far with the last sweat tank, tinfoil hat session, because she seems to have forgotten that she is a celebrity, and that people take pictures of celebrities.
It´s easy to mock Katie for calling the cops on paparazzi, but it´s even easier when you consider that she and Tom almost certainly have security who should be responsible for that sort of thing. It´s not really the police´s job to make sure that Katie can buy a baby pink jumpsuit from Target after all. That´s why you hire burly men who like dressing up in camouflage, or wearing dark suits and standing next to you.
This is another sign of Hollywood induced insanity, as commented on vis a vis Paris Hilton yesterday, though in this case, simply marrying Tom Cruise and being a Scientologist skews the data so far that its impossible to tell if this is Hollywood effect or just a series of bad life choices.
