Lilly Allen Doesn´t Want To Be Posh

Lilly Allen has been making waves lately, and her latest wave involves fellow country woman, Victoria Beckham. We all know that the poshest of the Spice Girls is more than a little obsessed with appearances and looking picture perfect, and Lilly thinks that just ain´t right. She´s said that Victoria is horrendous, and she hates the way that she dresses.
"I don´t like that thought-about thing - the hair, the nails, the tan, the different handbag to go with every outfit. People of my generation have become skeptical about it. We´ve had it shoved in our faces, and because of all these reality TV shows. We´ve seen how it all works behind the scenes. Rather than think, ´She must be cool because she is in a magazine´, we don´t buy into it."
So the problem is not so much that she´s making little girls anorexic because they want to look like she looks, but rather that she is making them cynical about being shallow, vapid, and generally narcissistic.
If that´s the case, then shouldn´t we be thanking her for doing the youth of today a service?
