Indian Court Tries To Arrest Richard Gere

I´ve written a lot of stupid headlines in the course of this job, but this one really has to take top spot, mostly because it is true. Richard Gere kissed UK Big Brother and Bollywood Star Shilpa Shetty at a public function in India, which lead to a court issuing warrants for both their arrests due to the fact that the kiss “transgressed all limits of vulgarity”. It was a kiss on the cheek.
You might remember they also tried to arrest Liz Hurley for not taking off her shoes at her wedding as well. This is fucking insanity, it´s almost like they´re trying to beat the Middle East in a “crazy fucking laws´ contest or something.
Ironically enough, the pair were trying to raise awareness for AIDS, and trying to prevent AIDS among truck drivers. Apparently the kiss was just much too much and “undermined the value and success of the event”, which is just insane. First, you don´t catch AIDS from kissing, and secondly, in spite of all their stupid laws there are clearly vast amounts of people having unprotected casual sex.
Way to go, retards.
