Scarlett Wants To Sing
Crossover alert! Scarlett Johansson is making her way over into the world of music. She's been warning the media and the general public for quite some time now that she might do such a thing, and she made her move the other day at a festival in California. She sung a duet with the band Jesus & Mary Chain, reviews are slow to emerge from the event, which could mean that she had everyone present killed, though that is unlikely. She is far too nice for that sort of thing after all.
Her other anticipated musical efforts are said to include an album of Tim Waits covers. Sounds absolutely horrific really doesn't it? An album of covers? This celebrity singer trend is worse than the whole boy band fiasco of the 80's and 90's. Paris will always remain the Queen of singers that should never have been of course, but there are plenty of other aspiring actors and actresses trying to knock her off her pedestal.
It's possible that this is all Justin Timberlake's fault. He did insist on putting her in his music video, even though Cameron Diaz did try to warn him not to. Oh lord, what has he done? Can the horror be recaptured once unleashed?
