Britney´s come back is off
Britney has been put on hiatus by her publicist, and her new record now isn't due out until 2008. It seems that her wacky behavior has resulted in some serious career suicide. Who knew that refusing to listen to the people that actually care and want you to get help could result in negative consequences?
"I'm surprised the album wasn't pushed back to 2009. Everything's up in the air with the album right now.¯ Said an industry insider who claims to have an in with Britney's record company.
Apparently it is not so much of a problem with the music, a decent producer can make a wounded cow sound good, it's probably more to do with Britney's inability to behave decently in public, and the high unlikelihood of her being able to handle the social rigours of promoting an album. That's my theory anyway, Britney probably blames clothes communists or something.
