Views: 4014 Cameron Diaz sure has had her share of oops moments lately, remember that whole nipple slip moment on Ellenīs show? Well sheīs taken things a little further this time, trekking through Peru carrying a bag which declared Serve the People. It sounds innocuous enough, but it happens to be the slogan that the Chinese used when they invaded and slaughtered a whole bunch(around 70,000)Peruvian people.
I guess this is the sort of thing that happens when you go around carrying things with words on them in languages you donīt understand. A Peruvian human rights activist said: "It alludes to a concept that did so much damage to Peru, that brought about so many victims. I donīt think she should have used that bag where the followers of that ideology did so much damage."
Letīs be fair, Cameron just thought it was kind of cute, and thought that the red on green type was a nice touch. She probably didnīt even know Peru was a real country until she got there.
