Views: 3834 What do you do when your daughter has jsut been arrested for her second DUI in three months, and she´s facing severe penalties like jail time? Why, you make a public statement of course!
Dina Lohan had this to say: "I am sick over this. My children, my family, we are like prisoners in our own home because paparazzi [are stalking us] outside [our] home. Lindsay is in a safe place. And we are trying to strategically work out our next step. We are doing everything in our power in support of Lindsay and I won´t give up -- this is my daughter and we love her. We are waiting for the press frenzy to die down and leave her alone. And please respect our privacy."
Privacy is respected when you don´t constantly whore yourself in the public eye, and children get better when parents do things like, uh, pay attention and actually visit them in rehab. Last time Lindsay was in rehab her family barely made an appearance, although in theory there were several phone calls.
