Nicole Richie Sentenced To Jail
Nicole is going to jail! Oh yes, you heard it here. As a result of her drinking and driving, Nicole has been sentenced to FIVE DAYS in jail, as well as being fined a whopping $2,048.00, and she also has to attend a 21 day course in which she will be educated about the evils of alcohol. She will also be on probation for three years.
What a shocking punishment. It seems strange that she got so little time compared to her charming friend Paris, but this is the legal system, and it's not about fairness, it's about the whims of the judge on any particular given day. I'm sure Nicole will look stunning in her prison orange uniform, and I am sure she will enjoy her special cell. She even gets to choose which correctional facility she attends, and has until September to show up.
That's right, they're not even giving her a date that she has to show up on, she can just show up for four days (she gets one day credited back to her for the six hours she spent in custody already), and they'll pop her in the cell and take her out again. With half time for good behavior, what is that, like two days in jail?
