Nicole Richie Goes To Jail

For all of 82 minutes. That´s right, Nicole went in to serve her 4 days of jail time, but was out 82 minutes later, which I am pretty sure is barely enough time for a half decent strip search.
According to the Sherrif´s Deputy, Nicole´s release, which was a good 94 hours short of her real sentence was: "based on her sentence and federal guidelines".
So I guess the federal guidelines in California pretty much state that if you are a celebrity you just don´t go to jail, unless you´re really unlucky, like Paris was. Surely the Justice Department must realize what kind of a message this is sending to the world at large about rich man´s justice in America? When asked if Nicole has even spent the 82 minutes she was in ´jail´, in a jail cell, there was no comment, which means that she probably spent the time signing autographs
Ah well, no point crying over broken Celebrity jail sentences eh. Nicole is now free to procreate in peace.
