Rihanna Avoids 29 Story Fall
Yeah, that's right, this is a story about someone NOT falling out a window, take THAT New York Times! It's also a song about how Jay-Z apparently told a 14 year old Rihanna that if she didn't sign a deal with him, he would throw her out of a 29 story high window. Rihanna recounts her traumatic tale: "The audition definitely went well. They (Def Jam) locked me into the office - till 3am. And Jay Z said, 'There's only two ways out. Out the door after you sign this deal. Or through this window...' and we were on the 29th floor. Very flattering".
Yes, the prospect of death is very flattering I quite agree. Why, once this nice fellow wanted to dry my brains and eat them while I was still alive, and I thought, 'Wow, I must be a great person.'
Still, I am sure it was a joke an all in fun sort of joke, though locking a child in his office until 3 am and threatening to toss her out the window sounds more like a call for SWAT than a record deal, obviously Jay-Z knows what he's doing. Umbrella sales have never been higher!
