Pete Doherty Left Amy Winehouse To Die
Remember that day when Amy Winehouse OD'd and almost died? Well apparently she had been partying with Pete Doherty, drinking, eating, and doing the drugs that happened to be the last straw for Amy's frail body. Sources say the story goes thus: They had a meal and a few drinks. They took a cocktail of drugs called a speedball; it's a mixture of heroin and cocaine. Amy couldn't take it, she is very lucky to be alive.
She collapsed when they went back to her flat. Pete left because he didn't want any bad publicity. He didn't know how to deal with it and thought she was dying. She was foaming at the mouth and fitting - Pete had never seen anything like it."
So not only is Pete a dirty damn junkie, he's not even cool enough to know what to do when someone with him is OD'ing. How lame is that, to run away and leave a lady you think is dying on the floor, and all because you don't want bad publicity. What a tool. A) It's way too fucking late on the bad publicity front, and B) It's worse publicity to have it come out that you're a total pussy as well as a user.
