Lindsay works on her daddy issues
Lindsay's dad has visited her in rehab, and the two of them have really been working on their issues, according to Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan. You'd think that such tender moments as a reunion between an estranged father and his daughter would be privately cherished, but no, with all the class the Lohans generally exude, Michael went to the appropriately named News of the World to tell his story.
Michael shared: As soon as I arrived, Lindsay rushed into my arms and curled up in my lap and sobbed like a baby. Lindsay said, ˜Daddy, I have done some terrible things and been addicted to drugs but please believe me I will never do drugs again.™
For some reason this sounds way too much like some sort of modern day Shirley Temple movie for me to take it seriously. Lindsay is well known for hating her father's guts, and he is well known for being an abusive asshole. Did they put aside those issues temporarily to create some positive publicity though? Probably, that I can believe.
