Paris Is Going To Rwanda

I guess the fence climbing didnīt garner enough attention, because Paris Hilton has announced that she is off to Rwanda! I must admit, I never thought I would see the day that Paris willingly traveled anywhere that didnīt have 24 hour nightclubs. Still, the nasty gossip writer in me wants to suggest that sheīs only really going because she wants to feel relatively disease free by going to a country riddled with pestilence and rampant STDīs, not to mention famine, war, and a few other nasties that could potentially make oneīs life rather miserable.
Paris spoke to E! Online about the trip saying that she decided to go to Rwanda because: Thereīs so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help.
In addition to this trip, she also plans to take more in the future to other troubled areas of the world: I want to visit more countries where poverty and childrenīs issues are a big concern. I know thereīs a lot of good I can do just by getting involved and bringing attention to these issues.
Rwanda is a dangerous place. Letīs just hope nothing bad happens to our lovely little Paris, the culture shock alone might be enough to kill her however.
