Rwanda doesnt want Paris

Well, Paris was set to head off to the darkest depths of Africa in November, but as it turns out, Rwanda doesn´t need or want Paris. The foundation that was organizing Paris´ ´philanthropic´ trip to Rwanda has ´postponed´ the trip. My, so many air quotes, so little time.
The foundation, called “Playing For Good”, released the following statement: "Due to the restructuring of the Playing for Good Foundation, the philanthropic trip to Rwanda that the foundation had previously planned with Paris Hilton has been postponed. Paris has been a loyal and gracious supporter of Playing For Good but the foundation has to regrettably reschedule this trip. Playing for Good would like to thank Ms. Hilton for her generosity and her continued support of this initiative and is looking forward to rescheduling the trip with her at a later time."
Hm yes ´later´ as in ´never´. My guess is that someone on the foundation realized that having a spoiled heiress fiming what would probably turn out to be a famine ridden version of ´The Simple Life” might somewhat undermine the purpose of the foundation, which is probably to help children in need, not the children of billionaires.
