Paris Gets Hers
Paris is getting sue happy these days, and a while back she filed a suit against Hallmark for using her likeness on one of their cards. Hallmark ain't no pussies though, and they responded to the suit wit a motion to dismiss, claiming that Paris brought it on herself. The motion read: Hilton has become a household name, based in large part on her efforts to draw attention to herself. Having done so, she has subjected herself to public scrutiny and the parodist's pen. The First Amendment does not allow her to respond by welcoming the fawning and flattering, but silencing the critical and comical."
I love legalese, you can call someone a publicity seeking whorebag and totally make it sound respectable. This isn't the only business that Paris has threatened to sue, you might remember the Canadian porn store that Paris ran amok in after finding posters advertising her sex tape in the window. Hmm... now there's a word for all of this, what is it again? Oh yeah, Karma. Enjoy Paris.
