Nicole Kidman is pregnant. She´s also old, and not as hot as she used to be, but hey, anything for a break from all the damn Britney Spears being a crazy wackjob drama that has consumed our lives since that fateful night. Let´s focus on something a little more joyful, like the fact that Nicole has finally managed to conceive.
This seems all sweet and innocent on the surface, but the deeper one looks, the weirder things get. Firstly, didn´t Nicole and Tom adopt because they couldn´t have children? Hm. Yet now they have both managed to conceive with different partners. Odd. Was Nicole´s womb simply rejecting Tom´s alien seed? We may never know.
Secondly, what happened to the kids Nicole and Tom adopted? Suri Cruise has been splashed across the magazines and screens of the world, but those other kids seem to have just faded into nothingness.
The only mention of them in recent times has been their use as a tool in the bitter cold war between Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Nicole lamented that her children didn´t call her Mom anymore, and a few days later, Katie proudly chirped to a member of the press that Tom´s kids called her Mommy all the time.
Ah well, at least she has her very own child on the way. Life is so much better than Chess like that, instead of playing what´s on the board, you can just spawn new pawns all the time.
