Britney Locked Up For Two More Weeks
Britney Spears looks set to stay in the psych ward for at least two more weeks, but don't think that means that the legal dramas will be stopping anytime soon. Britney has ordered her lawyers to drag her father's ass into court and contest his conservatorship on the grounds that she doesn't trust him.
Of course, she is crazy, so her trust is probably a nebulous thing right about now. The people she does trust, including Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi, the friend who has now been ousted out of his role as her conservator, have been shown to be of less than sterling character.
Sam spent the weekend lashing out at Britney's family, calling them hillbillies and saying he had a moral obligation to take care of Britney and keep her away from her family. However some of his closest friends call him a con artist, and a great deal of Britney's personal items were stolen from her house after she was committed to the psych ward, so maybe he was misquoted and actually meant to say that he had a moral obligation to keep Britney's money away from her parents.
