Jamie Lee Curtis Is Old, Naked

Jamie Lee Curtis has just hit 50, which has precipitated her whipping her clothing off and posing naked for a magazine. Naturally she doesn´t see it as a desperate bid for sexual attention, and a reaffirmation from the general male populace that she is still hot even though she is perilously close to the grave.
Jame made a long and rambling statement about how wonderful being old is, which might come in handy next time you need to make an older woman feel better about herself.
"If I can challenge the old ideas about aging, I will feel more and more invigorated. I want to be older. I actually think there´s an incredible amount of self-knowledge that comes with getting older. I feel way better now than I did when I was 20. I´m stronger, I´m smarter in every way, I´m so much less crazy than I was then. Getting older means paring yourself down to an essential version of yourself. My style is a distillation. I´ve etched out who I am through myriad haircut attempts, outfit attempts, beauty attempts, diet attempts. It´s been an evolution. I´ve let my hair go gray. I wear only black and white. Every year I buy three or four black dresses that I just keep in rotation. I own one pair of blue jeans. I´ve given away all my jewelry, because I don´t wear it."
My favorite line of all that is “I´ve etched out who I am through myriad haircut attempts, outfit attempts, beauty attempts, diet attempts.” Because of course, the way to discover who you truly are is to get a bunch of haircuts. It´s really hair and clothing that determines your inner being.
