Heidi Montag Is A Feminist Hero
If this wasn't an April Fools joke, or sarcasm gone wildly wrong, then the critic in question must have a death wish for all women. Gina Bellafante, who writes for The New York Times claims that Heidi Montag , has emerged as a kind of feminist hero this season, climbing her way to a bigger position at the event-planning company where she orchestrates Nascar parties, and refusing to acquiesce to the demands of her fianc©, Spencer, that she get herself home on time.¯
Oh yeah, she really showed him. Then again, she also risked her life for plastic surgery because she would rather have died than gone on living with small breasts. Is this now the definition of a feminist? If it is, bring on the burkas. I'd rather live in a society that insists women walk around like klansmen who fell into a vat of black dye than one where Heidi Montag with her fake nose, fake breasts, and fake brain is considered a feminist.
And Heidi's opinion on the matter? Heidi doesn't know what a feminist is. When asked who her own feminist heros were, Heidi responded: Uh, I'll have to get back to you on that.¯
