Views: 711 Amy Winehouse was briefly arrested for her cranium cracking spree of violence, but was released quickly after a kindly doctor declared that she wasn´t in a fit state to be questioned or to be in jail. That´s the official line anyway, but I think there´s something else going on here, a conspiracy the likes of which has not been seen since Mata Hari donned her fruit basket.
Amy´s rep has released the following statement: "Amy Winehouse was questioned this morning at a London police station in connection to an incident in Camden in the early hours of 23 April, 2008. She admitted to a common assault by slapping a man with an open hand and accepted a caution.
Amy was fully co-operative with inquiries and apologized for the incident. She thanked the police for their professional handling of the matter. There will be no further action taken."
Obviously Amy Winehouse is a member of an elite team of junkies who enforce justice in the world by headbutting evildoers. Lead by Pete Doherty, these special few are never incarcerated, no matter how many drugs they do in public, nor how much chaos they cause in the line of duty.
