Britney Spears: License To Crash

A while ago the State of California was considering a ´Britney Law´, which had to do with traffic control and celebrities. I thought the purpose of the law was to make it easier for celebrities to be transported through LA in emergencies, but evidently they passed the thing, and its actually a provision for Britney Spears to be able to do whatever she wants when she´s behind the wheel of a car.
Britney crashed her car for the umpteenth time this year, this time into the back of a red Ford Explorer which was stopped at a red light. From that description, one would assume that Britney failed to stop in time as she came up to the light. It´s a common enough mistake and the cause of many crashes. But was that how Britney managed to hit the other car? Of course not. Instead, she stopped at the light, but then decided to accelerate whilst the light was still red, sending her into the back of the vehicle in front.
Given that most two year olds can tell the difference between a red light and a green one, one wonders if Britney really is getting better, or if her father simply has her locked down to the point that she can´t sneak away to engage in crazy shenanigans.
