It turns out that there are problems in India with Elephants getting totally drunk from imbibing rice beer and then running around breaking things. Paris decided to speak out about this terrible tragedy whilst she was in Japan, saying: "The elephants get drunk all the time. It is becoming really dangerous. We need to stop making alcohol available to them."

Richard Gere kissed UK Big Brother and Bollywood Star Shilpa Shetty at a public function in India, which lead to a court issuing warrants for both their arrests due to the fact that the kiss â€œtransgressed all limits of vulgarityâ€.
